Create your account

Start at line-budget.com and select Create your account. Enter the name you'd like us to use, your email address, and a password with 12–128 characters, including an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol (such as !, @, or #). The checklist shows which requirements you've met. Spaces are allowed, but don't count as symbols.

Enter the same password in Confirm password, then select Create account. Next comes a quick check that the email address is yours.

Verify your email

  1. Look for the welcome email from noreply@line-budget.com.
  2. Select Verify email address in the email.
  3. On the page that opens, select Verify email address to activate your account.
  4. Select Sign in to your account and enter your email and password.

Your account starts with an empty My Budget. You're ready to set up your first budget—no need to have everything figured out yet.

If the email hasn't arrived

Give it a minute, then check your spam or junk folder. Check the email address shown on the signup screen too. If you mistyped it, select Back to registration and enter the correct address.

You can register again with the same address to request a fresh link for an unverified account. Enter the name and password you want to use; these replace the details from your earlier signup. Open the latest email, because earlier links are replaced.

If you already verified this address, sign in with your existing password. Registering again won't change an active account or send another email.

Verification links are valid for 24 hours. Return to registration and use the same email address to receive a fresh one. If the page says the link is invalid, check that you opened the complete link from the latest email.

If signup reports too many attempts, wait 15 minutes before trying again. If email delivery is temporarily unavailable, try registering again in a few minutes.

For an activated account, use Sign in and reset your password. If you still need help, email support@line-budget.com. Do not send your password or verification link.
